The museum seeks volunteers interested in local history who are willing to assist the staff in performing various types of volunteer work.

Volunteers can assist in performing certain office duties, specifically helping to catalogue our inventory, placing documents into archival storage,  assisting in organization work, or typing information. They might assist in helping during special events such as the house tour, manning our booth at an informational event, or fund raising.

Occasionally physical help is needed, such as doing landscaping work and light cleaning. If you have a specific skill such as carpentry, you might be able to assist the museum in building displays and performing simple maintenance jobs.

If interested, please contact museum staff by e-mail, calling, or printing the attached PDF form and bringing it or mailing it to the museum at 513 Washington Avenue.
