Membership
Members of the public are invited to become members of the Dunkirk Historical Society and join in the Museum’s mission at one of the following levels:
Student: $ 5.00
Regular: $ 15.00
Contributing: $ 25.00
Life: $100.00
All memberships at the Dunkirk Historical Museum are valid for one year from date of purchase with the exception of Life Membership.
Membership will enable you to be added to our e-mail list and receive up-to-date information concerning museum events, folk arts program updates.
Your membership helps us underwrite our operating expenses and maintain the collection.
You may e-mail contact@dunkirkhistoricalmuseum.org the museum in order to be sent a membership form, or you may stop in at the museum during hours of operation.
Volunteering
The museum seeks out those interested in local history who are themselves interested in assisting the staff in performing various types of volunteer work.
Volunteers can assist in performing certain office duties, specifically helping to catalogue our inventory, place documents into archival storage, assist in organization work.
Occasional physical needs include landscaping work and light cleaning If you have a specific skill such as carpentry, you might be able to assist the museum in building displays and performing simple maintenance jobs.

4. What days and times you are able to volunteer.
