Donations

Donations to the museum are always welcome.

We especially seek those items relevant to the city’s major industries, specifically the Brooks Locomotive Works and ALCO, and its commercial fishing industry. We welcome photographs, postcards, geneologies, and documents relevant to the city’s history.

Monitary donations that enable us to continue the work of the museum are gratefully accepted. The donations would further efforts to store the collection archivally, acquire new display units, further museum programming such as the folk arts program, and help make physical improvements to the building.

Please consider the Museum in your will. Becoming a benefactor ensures that your legacy of giving allows the preservation of the city’s legacy.

The Dunkirk Historical Museum is a 501 (C) (3) Non Profit Orgaization and donations are tax deductable.
